Borsec ski slope and summer bobsleigh
In summer the 1.5 km bobsleigh runs on the same slope, 20 minutes on foot from Villa Bellini.
In brief
The Speranța centre, at the north end of Borsec, works in two seasons. In winter the ski slope is open: three prepared runs of about 2 km in total, at 936 to 1072 m above sea level, with a single-seat T-bar lift and night skiing on the Speranța run. In summer the bobsleigh runs on the same slope, about 1.5 km long, with the ride up on the lift. When snow falls, the centre switches from bobsleigh to skiing; the operator announces the date. From Villa Bellini it is about 20 minutes on foot.

In summer: the 1.5 km bobsleigh
The summer bobsleigh starts at the top of the slope: you ride up on the lift, then come down on the rail, about 1.5 km. It runs in the warm months, until snow falls and the centre changes over to skiing.

Lift, tickets and equipment
The lift has a single seat and carries up to 720 people an hour. The operator sells passes by the hour and by the day, including multi-day passes, and point cards. Children under 14 and people over 65 pay a reduced rate.
Skis, boots, poles, helmets and sledges can be rented at the centre. The runs are prepared with snow cannons and a snow groomer, and the operator has a restaurant at the foot of the slope. Current hours and prices are on the operator's website.
Accommodation 20 minutes on foot from the slope
Villa Bellini is at Str. Carpați 95, about 20 minutes on foot from the slope. Private parking is free, with room for about 15 cars, and the snow is cleared in winter.
Buffet breakfast, 08:00 to 10:00, is included for staying guests. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out until 11:00. We do not accept pets.
